Latest Charts, w/e April 26: Titanfall remains top as EA dominates top 10

This week's latest gaming charts are in and show EA dominating the top ten, with five titles represented.

Things start off well for EA as sticking at the top of the charts is Titanfall, which is followed by the World Cup themed version of FIFA. Activision does manage to make its mark thanks to Call of Duty: Ghosts in third place, but EA returns with FIFA 14 in fourth place.

The rest of the top ten is made up of LEGO The Hobbit, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, South Park, The LEGO Movie Videogame and other few EA titles in the shape of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Battlefield 4.

Here's the top 40 courtesy of chart track.

Seems most copies of Titanfall counted in the charts at this point are the free copies given away with every Xbox One. Would love to see genuine sales figures for the standalone retail SKU of Titanfall to get an accurate assessment of how it managed to sell overall.

Got a source for that bit of speculation kevin? Or did you just make it up because the sales haven't dropped off the way you kept predicting they would?

Um... they have dropped off though. Week on week it's been selling less and less on Xbox One, with the launch of the 360 version providing the only real sales spike the title has had. Total sales for Titanfall are 41% down on what they were at last week, and that has been with the game going sub £30 at many retailers. Titanfall still being number one speak less of it's 'success' than it does of the overall chart numbers being so low.
