DriveClub trailer was cut from in-game footage

Driveclub’s new game director Paul Rustchynsky has confirmed that yesterday's release date trailer was cut from footage rendered in real-time, i.e from real in-game footage.

Rushtchynsky also confirmed that more news on the title will start to come out now that an official date has been announced. This includes news on the game's frame rate, which after such a long delay we expect will be targeting 60 frames per second.

DriveClub arrives on PS4 on October 7 in North America, October 8 in Europe and October 10 in the UK.

PlayStation Plus owners will get the DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition for free on the same date.

The environmental detail and effects present in this game are so far beyond any racer currently on the market at this point it isn't even funny. Looks truly remarkable.

@ RTLF, sorry mate I couldn't resist and I honestly didn't mean it to sound harsh, I call friends this all the time, more of a joke than anything so apologies. What's not helping I've had raging tooth ache since yesterday ( dentist tomorrow ) so not in the best of moods myself. As for Drive Club, I agree with Prometheus, it looks really good and even though I've been all doom and gloom about the release date I look forward to any racing title announced and it's no different with this one, roll on October.
