Advanced Warfare detailed by Game Informer article

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been featured in the latest issue of Game Informer, meaning that there is now a lot more information to share.

Details from the magazine come courtesy of Gamespot, revealing that the game will finally be running on a new engine and will have a co-op mode.

As far as the story goes it's set in 2054 and revolves around a “global 9/11,” which has affected several major cities around the world thanks in part to the terrorist organization known as the KVA.

The main character, which is voiced by Troy Baker is known as Private Mitchell. Our hero starts the game as a US Marine but is later asked by Will Irons, the son of Jonathan Irons - voiced by Kevin Spacey, the CEO of Atlas Corporation, to join his father’s PMC. At this point Mitchell gets access to all manner of future tech equipment, such as an exoskeleton suit and more.

Throughout the campaign you'll be able to upgrade your EXO-suit, adding to the already impressive features such as the ability to cloak, scale walls, boost-dodge, boost to cover, super-jump, hover in mid-air and more.

The game will also include vehicles, such as the Pitbull, which is based on the US (MRAP) vehicle.

As for multiplayer, studio co-founder Michael Condrey says, “You can probably imagine the possibilities of a lot of the stuff you saw in single-player and how it would apply online.”

Haven't been into call of duty since after Black ops, but i love Kevin Spacey so that makes me interested here.

I was hoping Spacey would've added more of his "House of Cards" accent for this. :)
