Harmonix launches Kickstarter to bring Amplitude to PS4 and PS3

Harmonix has launched a new Kickstarter campaign in an effort to fund a reboot of its 2003 rhythm-action game, Amplitude.

"We want to update this cult classic and bring it to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3," says the PR note sent to us today. "The Amplitude reboot will feature fresh visuals in high definition, new music, and more! In order to bring Amplitude to modern consoles, we need your help!

If you'd like to help bring back Amplitude then you can get a copy of the game, vote on the soundtrack, spend a day at Harmonix, and more.

Check out the Kickstarter here for more.

Kind of wish this Kickstarter fad would end for big companies like this. It's basically pre ordering without a guarantee of a product at the end and paying upfront. However I am behind the early access stuff on steam, getting a basic version of the game. Give me something I can get my hands on.
