EA teasing six new games for E3

EA is planning to reveal six new games at its E3 press conference, according to Spike TV's Geoff Keighley.

EA confirmed the event begins on 9th June at around 8pm for UK and will be streamed live for all to see.

What we do know is that DICE's Star Wars: Battlefront reboot will be featured and is "coming along very, very well."

EA also teased an unannounced title that will make up for the lack of both Medal of Honor this year saying, "If you don't have a Battlefield in a year, you've got a hole there that you have to fill.

"The way we're filling that hole is essentially new titles along the lines of FIFA: World Cup, UFC, a golf game, The Sims and Dragon Age. I would say that fills about two-thirds of the hole and the rest of the hole we would assume is being filled by this new, unannounced game.

"We're highly conscious of the crowded slate in the back half of the year. What that means is it's gotta do great and it's got to do really well, particularly on the new generation. The box is going to have to be unique. I think you'll see all of that at E3 when you get a chance to see the game."

We can't wait to see what surprises EA has for us, can you?

I suspect there'll be more than just Battlefront for EA's Star Wars games, since they brokered that deal a while ago. Is it too much to ask for a 1313 revival? That game needs to be mine.

That wouldn't be a new game though. Mind you, EA's definition of a new game is a bit on the shady side.

I'm hoping there are some completely new IP, not some rehash/reboot disguised as EAs definition as new

I can dream that they are going to do a new Road Rash.

I cant remember the name of it Bindiana but there is a company doing a spiritual successor to Road Rash. Hopefully it is completely new games rather than spin offs or sequels though I would like a Bad Company 3.

3-4 EA Sports titles, the new Mass Effect spinoff and a Battlefield game from Visceral are my guesses.
