PES 2015 listed for September 26 by retailer

Konami will release PES 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 according to GameStop Italy's website.

It's no surprise that the game is coming, however the site has listed it for release on September 26, which is pretty new.

"I can't say certain things about PES 2015, but we are ready to make a comeback," said Konami Europe boss Shinji Hirano of the game previously.

"I cannot give details on exactly what we are doing with the UK studio, but they are working on the next project and looking at the needs of the European people. It's about globalising the franchise, so it is not just being developed by Japanese people.

"We know what's been going wrong with PES, we are working on that. The next version is totally changed. 2014 is a transitional year for the franchise, so expect big things."

PES 2015 is being worked on by Konami's new London studio.

It is going to take a lot of work to gain back what they once had. Good luck to them.

Well I suspect Fifa 15 will come out in September as well, anybody find it weird we haven't seen anything from the 2 football franchises yet? perhaps saving themselves for E3? I used to be a Pro Evo guy but sadly it lost its appeal to me and I switched sides. Maybe this year will see that happen again, only this time to the latter.

Just take it back to basics with a copy of PES4 thrown in if it's crap. If it can recapture that with no slowdown like the last version they'll be onto a winner

Hopeful that the mistakes of PES 2014 have been learned from and we don't get an essentially unfinished game on release. Last few updates show they're getting to grips with the new fox engine and with the new European studio input very hopeful of the 2014 potential being realized.
