FIFA 15's 'Legends' are exclusive to Xbox

Microsoft has once again snapped up Ultimate Team Legends for FIFA 15, meaning that if you want the likes of Gullit and Van Basten then you'll need to play for team Xbox.

The information comes from the box art of the game which has been posted up by a few retailers today.

Are you gutted? If it's any consolation, you'll still be able to play Ultimate Team on PlayStation, just not with legends.

FIFA 15 releases September 23 in North America and September 26 in Europe on 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii, Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

I am gutted. I own both xbox one and PS4. But only use Xbox for exclusives for obvious reasons. But also all my FIFA friends are on PlayStation. So I am gutted I miss out of Legends. This is why exclusive DLC is stupid and should not happen. Playstation players pay the same as xbox owners yet get less content. Vice versa with Far Cry 4. Xbox owners pay the same yet get less content. Exclusive DLC NEEDS TO STOP!!!

Quite dissapointed really. Why do EA always want to sell parts of the game. Both sets of fans should enjoy Legends FUT

Legends don't interest me. The fact they only attach to other legends also means you're only using them to get a big boost of cash or building an obscure Swedish team against someone like Ljungberg.

I wouldn't go that far dynamite. This is the best team I've ever used http://i.imgur.com/DzcUlxn.png I wouldn't say it is exactly "obscure"

Up to yet having owned 360/PS3, XB1/PS4 I've never based my decision on which platform to buy the game on because of Exclusive ( timed or not ) DLC, I've not seen anything up to yet that made me think ... "Must buy it on that one" .. and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

It's sad that EA are just solely focusing on where to sell of various parts as exclusives to earn extra money as opposed to reaching as many fans as possible. Reminds me of the recent event where Gears of War would possibly be made available to all consoles but Microsoft bought franchise as an exclusive. A huge fan of Gears and FIFA but I still think a PS4 was the best console to go for. Missing FIFA Legends doesn't make me regret that decision. Also, surely if Legends was made available across all consoles then surely the amount of sales would total more for EA than the Microsoft exclusive deal? Players for one console, or players from the whole array of consoles. Surely that's a no brainer. I'm guessing MS must've thrown a shed load of cash at EA!

And I agree with you, ocelot-johno. We all pay the same prices so it should be available to all.

Yeah but you spend enough money on the game to make getting legends/tots easy, where as the normal folks will get one legend at most, and then would have to play with other randomers outside Robben and co as they're too out of budget.

Exclusive features in a game that gets a new instalment every year really isn't a selling point for me. Couldn't care less. Just give me Career mode and local multiplayer and I'll be happy.
