Nintendo 64 games coming to Wii U Virtual Console?

Nintendo 64 games could soon arrive on the Wii U Virtual Console, if a reference on the Wii U Virtual Console page is anything to go by.

"Check back regularly for the latest releases, including the future addition of titles from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 systems," says the description.

This means we could see titles such as Super Mario 64, Starcraft 64 and all manner of other titles.

What would you like to see arrive?

Rampage :D I remember doing all of it in a day and it felt good :D I have a bunch of N64 games already so there probably isn't many that I'd get.

they need to not limit themselves like the 3DS virtual console. they need to take the entire library and dump them all onto the store. 99p each or something.

I would really like to play Rampage. I played the old arcade version. There may be a problem though seeing as Midway went under some years ago

It sucks that we won't be able to get Rare's games on the VC. I'll actually have to find an N64 to play all of those games. I'm just hoping we get Sin & Punishment again.

Reckon we might get Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64 as they are Nintendo properties, and they did put DKR out on DS.

Goldeneye on N64 was a great game back then. I remember spending ages on that game, especially the multiplayer. Wonder if that will make it to VC.

It won't, even if Rare didn't own the code Activision hold the licence.

A real no-brainer for Nintendo. Having access to the N64's library would be a real boon for the Wii U. Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64 are liable to be high on the most wanted. Oh, and Starfox as well! :D

Goldeneye will never come to the the Virtual Console (I'll stake my life on it) & OoT & Starfox 64 are available on the 3DS so unless they discount them heavily I don't see a lot of people buying them

You can see why the N64 was a classic console with some of the titles your naming here

I would have preferred to have had the gamecube virtual console as there is not really that much I would be fussed about getting on the N64 one.

After the Gamecube adapter is released then we will start hearing about the Gamecube Virtual Console since it just makes sense
