PlayStation 4 firmware 1.72 released

Sony has released PS4 update 1.72,  a minor update which improves system software stability during the use of some features.

We are currently waiting on Sony to release some of the promised features, such as the resume and suspend feature, PlayStation Now and more, however none of that has been dated or even talked about for Europe.

Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

In the meantime, make sure you update your PS4.

Whilst it's good to see them addressing stability issues, I think most are more eager to see new features added. As far as I'm aware, they've not released any details or timetable relating to any new implementations :(

I like the way Microsoft have been doing it with the xbox one adding new features every month, still have not tried out this months stuff yet though.

Agree with da_kerr, good that Sony is adding to consoles stability. But it's about time they started making changes that they've promised since launch.

as much as I want the extra features for PS4 im happy that any issues get priority, pointless having the extra features if the console breaks down lol

That Stability, my PS4 can withstand an earthquake at this rate. Sony needs to add more user requested features, Microsoft is leaving us in the dust at this rate in Firmware update terms that is.
