By the sounds of it, it doesn't seem as if they'll be threatening video games sales/rentals at all the retailers out there. In fact, I've never even heard of these titles & as for the 360 titles, I just don't have the hard drive memory to play them, so I couldn't download them if even if I wanted to! Might RELUCTANTLY give 'Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition' a go as I just saw it yesterday on eShop for about £7. Had NO intention of buying it, so, yeah, I might RELUCTANTLY, give that a try. Disappointing. Was more hoping on 'Ryse' for XO tbh. By-the-way, & if Nintendo eShop's retailing 'Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition' then why hasn't BandaiNamco released 'JoJo's' for Wii U yet? Maybe with the release of 'One Piece Red: Straw Hat' edition on Wii U that might change?!! I should actually be playing that from to-day, as I pre-ordered it on a competing retailer's website!!

I hear Gotham is quite fun so I'll be trying that and at least they're keeping up with X1 titles even if it is Indie.

Wow, and people had the audacity to attack the PS+ releases for next month. Please, MS, try a little harder. I'd actually rather they released some older, yet exceptional games :(

I don't think people realise how good guacamelee is. Great game!

Is this some sort of rental service when you buy Xbox Live, or are the games free? Because if it's renting games then I still won't renew my subscription. Anyway, people need to look in to Guacamelee before shooting it down because it's a really good game. I think I'll buy it on Wii U next week.

On Xbox360, the games are to keep forever, even if your Gold subscription lapses. However, on Xbox One, they've adopted the PSN+ model under which, you must have a current subscription to continue using the games you download as part of the program :)

Thanks da_kerr. I might give it a look on my 360 and see what games I can get.

Xbox live gold is a joke when compared to PSN+

I always get these free games even if I do not have space, or if I think it is no good, as one day I may want to play it. The console then errors with Device Full, and then I delete the download, but can still download it again for free. The games are better with PSN+ but I find the Live service smoother, and has very few down times due maintenance, in fact I have not encountered one yet, but there has been plenty downtime on the PSN.

I think I’m a little less depressed that my gold membership expired months ago. If I was still a member, I probably would have downloaded Gotham City Imposters just for the sake of it.

It depends on what games you like if you find one better than the other. I prefer the free games being the smaller random games that you would maybe give a miss normally. Either way I am getting 9 free games this month.

Good news for Xbox fans. Guacamelee is one of the best sidescrolling indie games.

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
