Airtight Games closes its doors

Murdered Soul Suspect developer, Airtight Games has closed it's doors.

According to a new report via Geekwire, the Seattle studio behind Dark Void and Quantum Conundrum, closed yesterday morning, with signs confirming the closure of the studio and advertising the sale of its equipment.

Trouble has been brewing for the company for quite some time, with layoffs taking place just a few months ago and its most high profile employee, Kim Swift leaving for Amazon Game Studios.

We wish those affected by the closure well.

Not surprised after the Murdered Soul Supect, one of the most boring games (game play wise, story was ok-ish) almost as bad as La Noire, maybe they should make more entertaining games and they'd still be in business?

I actually quite enjoyed Murdered Soul Suspect, I thought it had some great ideas and at the very least it was something different to a lot of games we seem to be getting over and over. Either way, I don't like the hear any company packing up and people losing their jobs.

Square-Enix have blood on their hands in this instance. No question.

That's a shame, I want to try the game but I was curious to know if the game is gripping as it's not usually the type of game I play. Best of luck to the people who lost their jobs.

As one of the handful of people who actually like Dark Void, this is sad news. Hard to believe this is the company that had a lot of the talent responsible for the fantastic Crimson Skies back in the original Xbox era :(

Guess that means no more content for Murdered Soul Suspect :(
