While Sony is this morning reporting 50 Million units shifted on a Worldwide basis, Microsoft is also looking strong, in the US anyway.
The software giant is this morning reporting that for a third consecutive month, Xbox 360 has been crowned North America’s best-selling home console.
Microsoft revealed that last month, in the US alone, the console shifted 430,000 Xbox 360′s – 28 per cent more – than March 2010. Games being credited for shifting consoles include Homefront, Crysis 2, Dragon Age II and Call of Duty: Black Ops, all of which are mutiplatform.
Sony has not yet revealed PlayStation 3 sales for March.
