No sign of Watch Dogs on Wii U, what's the betting it's been cancelled and they just haven't bothered telling anyone?

Is Just Dance coming out on Wii U? I have thought Watchdogs has been cancelled for a while and they were just making that stuff up about the delay.

Not sure about Just Dance, I don't think they're even bothering with their crappy shovelware any more.

Thats what I was wondering if Just Dance isnt on the Wii U then would guess nothing else coming from Ubisoft for the Wii U

Kind of pointless to bring Watch Dogs out late, because everybody would have played it. It needed to release at the same time to have a chance. It's pretty much what happened with Mass Effect 3. It sold terribly, because everybody had already played it. Then you have to factor in the type of gamers that will buy games like that. They probably already have a PS4 or Xbone and the Wii U is their second system. Ubisoft looked like Nintendo's only friend, but even that looks like it's slowing dying off. Hopefully their first party titles will see them through this gen.

'Ubisoft looked like Nintendo's only friend' You think, because it looked like they screwed them over right from the start, shovelware aside they gave the Wii U a gimped version of a multiplatform game and a broken exclusive game for launch, then they delayed Rayman weeks before launch, and it's all been downhill since then. If Ubisoft could be considered any sort of friend to Nintendo it would be the kind who always keep a knife at hand to stab you in the back.

The fact is, at least Ubisoft are/were making games for the Wii U. They're getting no support from EA or Activision. Holding games back isn't great, but it's better than not making anything at all. The only problem is when publishers point at the sales numbers and say that's why they're not going to support the Wii U. They need to publish games at the same time as the other systems or it's an unfair contest.

Actually activision has been supporting the Wii U COD Ghosts was on Wii U Skylanders is on Wii U also Amazing Spiderman 2 came out on Wii U and the new transformers game.

With Ubisoft it's all about quantity over quality with all their shovelware and gimped ports, that's not supporting the Wii U, that's capitalizing on it, and does more harm than good to the console.

Had a whole comment all typed out & Shopto decided to be Shopto and lose it. Long story short, if the game doesn't use the Gamepad in a unique way (Any way) or is part of a series then I would prefer to get it on a another platform/platform I have the rest on.

I got Rayman Legends on the Wii U cos of Gamepad features . I also got Unlimited World Red on Wii U but I should have just went PS3 cos it never used the Gamepad for anything other than Minigames

Am I the only one that remembers how Gloria wouldn't say a bad word about Ubisoft around the time the Wii U launched? Also, Gloria, I'm not sure you understand what 'shovelware' actually means.

Ubisoft are saints in comparison to EA and Activision. If any publishers only care about quantity over quality, it's those two. Ubisoft has been recycling Assassin's Creed, but they've still brought us new IP's. They take more than 2+ years to release a large selection of their AAA games.

I think they're just as bad as EA and Activision, they cut content to sell as DLC routinely, they milk games way to much, especially taking the piss now with two AC's in one year, and their games are all pretty samey so even when they do bring a new IP out they don't seem that new.

The two AC's is a cool idea but they should have split them into different release windows

To be fair, they've had at least two AC titles most years, one on home consoles and one on handhelds usually(Last year was the only year there was no handheld spinoff I think). This year it just happens that the two titles are both on different generations of home console it seems. "they cut content to sell as DLC routinely" - Oh? Any specific examples of this?

To stick up for Activison if anyone buys the Wii version of the new Skylanders they get a free digital copy of the Wii U version in the box as well which is pretty good of them.

Yeah, Activision aren't as bad as they used to be, they don't milk as bad as they used to since they effectively killed Guitar Hero.

I know, was just thinking the other day how I would like another Guitar Hero/ Rock Band but they did get milked to death.

Activision have recycled Call of Duty since 2003. It doesn't look like they're going to stop any time soon. They have already killed Guitar Hero. They bought Crash and ended up ruining it. I hope Destiny doesn't get ruined by annual releases. The biggest cancer is EA, though. I have no doubts about that.

Destiny isn't build for annual releases. The game will get one giant update each year

I'm skeptical, because Activision are the publisher. I really do hope you're right. Since this game has a huge budget, I assumed that meant that we'd be seeing a series.

I would imagine Bungie have kept creative control rather than just flog the company to them like Infinity Ward and Bizarre Creations did.
