Deep Silver and 4A games have released a new trailer showing off some of the graphical improvements the team has made to Metro Redux, which is coming out this month on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Discover how 4A Games have made Metro Redux one of the most complete and ambitious 'remasters' of modern times.

Improved graphics, new game modes and additional content and features make Metro Redux a compelling package for newcomers and Metro fans alike.

You can purchase Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux  individually as a digital download for an SRP of $24.99 / €19.99 / £15.99 each.

In a time when remasters are coming thick and thin, This should be commended, most remasters up to now have been a minimum of 37 quid upwards, this is less than 30 and it has two games, less than 15 each, but look at the work they have done to it, simply amazing, the first one is a completely new game with new areas added, I cannot wait for this to come out

Yeah, this one actually looks like a good deal. The first game has clearly been vastly improved and it's priced nicely. Can't complain.

Already played both, and to be honest they were both pretty mediocre games, a bit more graphical polish isn't going to change that.

The gameplay, story was OK and it looked nice enough, but it was just a really mediocre FPS. Came out around the same time as Aliens Colonial Marines, and the gameplay was pretty much the same, with crappy AI, dodgy collision detection, invisible wall, and all sorts of shortcomings, but it was given a free pass because it's developers were hard up.

Like Jay said it is good value, 2 games for £30, plus as well as a graphical update, they have added / extended areas. Sleeping Dogs is just a graphical update with nothing added, and will probably be £40+ and only one game, but the way they probably see it as value is that they are adding in all the DLC with it, which there was loads.

Sleeping Dogs was a lot better game than both the Metro games put together too.

Sleeping Dogs and Metro are different games though, also my opinion but i completely disagree you put the Metros in the same line as Aliens. I don't remember encountering many if any glitches at all, maybe the 1st Metro gave you the most trouble, the stealth mechanic for 2033 is being used from Last Light. Its a shame you didn't like but hey ho you probably have plenty of games to be content with :).
