Microsoft is testing a feature which allows users to download Xbox One games for free and play them for a limited time.
US users taking part in the Xbox One console beta spotted that Max: The Curse of Brotherhood had been unlocked as a free download under a new titled - Free Play Day with Gold.
Microsoft's customer support was initially surprised to find out about this new feature, but later suggested that an announcement will be made soon.
What do you think of this initiative? It could be that it'll only affect set titles which are perhaps a little older and have not been so popular. But we'll see.
@PrestoFriend531 Gotcha. Looks like it is actually. We'll be in touch here shortly. :) ^AD— Xbox Support (1-5) (@XboxSupport) August 20, 2014
