Dead or Alive 5: Last Round announced

Tecmo has revealed that a new version of Dead Or Alive 5 is in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will launch in Japan in Spring 2015.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be the fifth version of Dead Or Alive 5 released by Tecmo, so we are guessing that plenty of people must be buying it.

Here's a video.

Not sure who keeps buying this, I thought it was the worst DoA I've ever played.

I will most likely wait for it to arrive to PS+ or pick it up ad a insanely low price

Why can't they just focus on making DOA 6

I think a lot of it is to do with the eye-rolling costume DLC. They make a killing on that I think... it's super expensive and there's an absolute ton of it, so it makes a kind of sense to build your audience as much as possible for one game with multiple revisions rather than start to splinter it with a whole new title before you need to. I assumed that free to play 'Core Fighters' version existed to test the waters as a DLC trojan title first and foremost tbh. Could be what they end up doing with DOA6.

I enjoy doa games but by the time i pick up next gen console maybe doa6 will be out by then. But still nice for fans who sold there previous consoles i suppose.
