Minecraft arrives on PS4 *update*

Update: Minecraft is now out on PS4.

You can download the PS3 to PS4 upgrade for £3.69 or if you don't own the PS3 version, buy the full game.

Original: Xbox One owners will finally be able to download Minecraft on Friday, while PS4 owners should get hold of it today.

If you currently own the game on Xbox 360 then you can upgrade to the new-gen version for a small fee. All DLC and worlds created in the 360 version can also be transferred over.

The PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft will arrive today via digital means, although there is still no word on when the physical release or the PS Vita version will arrive. PS4 owners purchasing digitally will also get the same discount at the Xbox One owners, providing they own the PS3 version.

Both the PS4 and Xbox One version have worlds which are said to be over 36 times larger than the PS3/Xbox 360 versions.
