Xperia Z3 range to include PS4 Remote Play

Sony has announced its Xperia Z3 line and while this is not something that we'd usually write about, it has a pretty neat feature that we thought you may be interested in.

Sony’s newest Xperia Z3 mobiles will be able to stream games from your PlayStation 4. This will be the first time that remote play will be available elsewhere other than on the PlayStation Vita.

All you need to do is hook up a DualShock 4 to the phone and enjoy. Considering that the new mobile has two days of battery life, a 1080p 5.2-inch display, 3GB of RAM and a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, there's plenty of power under the hood.

Remote Play will be possible on the standard Z3 model, the Z3 Compact and the Z3 Tablet.

Those who own the mobile can stream using the PlayStation App, with the only requirement being that you have to use the same WiFi network. It's possible that internet Remote Play will happen in the future.

"All you need to do is hook up a DualShock 4 to the phone" If this is the case then it's about time they added an option to let you use the DS4 while playing via vita remote play too. I'm good with the vita's controls but when playing online via remote play I feel like the other players using the DS4 have a slight edge when aiming

This will be good if you can connect it up to TV in another room.

pain in the ass this is, I upgraded to the xperia Z1 a couple of months ago, 2 weeks later the Z2 comes out, and now news of the Z3, and my upgrade date is jan 2016, Now i can play games on my phone with dualshock with it being a sony phone so cant see it being hard to allow a system update to add this to my phone
