Microsoft offers users free game in U.S

Microsoft seem to be pulling out the stops to win some customers back in the U.S, with first a price cut and now the offer of a free game if consumers buy an Xbox One.

This U.S only offer runs for one week only, from September 7 through September 13, and sees buyers get a free Xbox One game of their choice for buying an Xbox One.

Titles mentioned by Microsoft include the likes of Destiny, Titanfall, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition and Watch Dogs. While it also mentions Madden NFL 15 and NHL 15, but it seems the choice is the consumers.

The offer is also good on system bundle deals, so if those in the U.S pick up a bundle they can still have a game of their choice.

Will this help Microsoft win back some customers in its home turf?

IMO, No! However, if a selected game was given at the point of purchase (Hard Copy) then this may help but not even that will help much! I think consumers are more attracted to deals in-store and at the point of purchase, I know I am...

I wouldn't buy it if they threw in all six games.

That's a great deal, but I already own an xbox one. If it comes to uk would think about selling my ps4 maybe. Just hope Sony fix the ps plus for ps4. This month's game is the best yet. But xbox one wins for me over ps4
