DriveClub PS Plus Edition will get weather update and new India tracks for free

Here's some interesting DriveClub news, if you are planning on picking up the PlayStation Plus Edition, then you'll be pleased to know that you will also receive access to free tracks and the game's upcoming weather update.

Game director Paul Rustchynsky the news, but did add that new cars will only be available to those who upgrade to the full version.

"PlayStation Plus Edition owners will be able to get free tracks for India (the featured location) and exciting new game features such as weather," Rustchynsky said on PlayStation Blog, "but to access new cars you have to upgrade to the full game".

The PS Plus Edition is expected to release alongside the full version on October 10 and will include access to 11 tracks across India, 10 cars and all game modes.

If you wish to upgrade then you can get the full version for £42.99 which will give you access to everything the retail version has to offer.

Of course you can also pre-order the retail version below, as well as the brand new DriveClub PS4 console bundle.

WOW, that's disgraceful. Thanks Sony and Evolution for totally shafting your PS+ members! Not content with breaking their promise that we would get Driveclub free when PS4 launched and then having it delayed almost a year, we now discover that when we do actually get the PS+ version it won't actually be the game at all but rather a 'glorified demo' with only 1 location and no extra cars, and if we want anything more we'll have to pay another £43!!! What an absolute ripoff. Way to go Sony, tell a pack of lies to your most loyal customers and them expect them to pay over the odds for something you promised for free a year ago. That's nothing less than fraud and I for one will not be duped into buying this. Sign me up for 'The Crew' instead thanks.
