PS Plus fees raising in some regions, UK unchanged

Sony is raising the price of Playstation Plus in some regions, but the UK is set to remain unchanged at the moment.

South Africa, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and India  are among some of the regions included in the price increase.

Sony has said the increase is due to 'market conditions' and has stated that North America will not see an increase in price any time soon. It's unsure if the UK will be affected.

Seems the changes are mostly down to fluctuations in currency value.

" I wouldnt mind this if they actually have games other than indie puzzlers and side scrollers" - They do. Every single month in fact. And I think most of us would mind a price hike here a whole goddamn lot.

Shame that. Velocity 2X is a very good game. As are Strider and Fez. Crysis 2, Dead Space 3 and NBA 2k14 also have a ton to offer outside of your 'no 2d retro side scrollers arcadey games' prejudice.
