Destiny has 3.2 million players a day

Destiny has a lot of players. In fact it has 3.2 million players on average every day.

Bungie revealed the impressive stats a month on from the game’s launch, saying that on average people play for around three hours.

“We thank you for playing. And, we thank you for the passion and enthusiasm that has made the Destiny community so strong already. It's been amazing to watch your Guardians become legends,” Bungie said. “Your reactions and your opinions have helped us to make Destiny better over this past month.

“Pioneering something new is never easy. When we see the raw numbers, it’s easy for us to say that the destination was worth the journey. Stay tuned for the next evolution of our shared adventure.”

Have you or do you play Destiny? What would you like to see improve?

If you've not played yet then you can order below.

I am not one of those players, yes I had fun at the beginning, but after a few weeks of playing, I can't bring myself to load up the game anymore. The grind doesn't bother me so much, I have played very grindy games in the past. After reaching level 26, I don't see any further reward.

This game more than any other in recent memory really has highlighted the massive disconnect that exists between the games media and the games buying public at large, as reviewers really went out of their way to shit on the game whereas in actual execution it has proven massively popular with the majority. Great game, good to hear it's doing so well.

Getting very repetitive now. I just log on to do daily, weekly, nightfall and Raid once a week.

I think overall the game plays brilliantly when played with friends but now I've seen all what the game has to offer, story, well if you can call it a story, strikes, done them so many times I've lost count, same daily bounties, like SB above, I just find it too repetitive now for it to hold my interest. When the first DLC lands I will give it another go but for now it's on to other games.
