Latest Charts, w/e November 8: Advanced Warfare takes top spot

This week's latest charts are in and it's hardly surprising that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is this week's top selling game.

Perhaps surprisingly or perhaps not, the PS4 version was the top seller, despite Microsoft bundling the game with Xbox One and retailers providing some impressive deals at the same time.

Even more interesting is that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sold more copies during its first week on sale than Titanfall, Destiny and Wolfenstein: The New Order combined, with sales being almost 14 per cent higher than the opening week sales of the three shooters combined.

As for the rest of the charts, well FIFA 15 was relegated to second spot, while Football Manager landed in third place. Alien Isolation and Destiny made up the top five.

Here's the top 40.

I see that there is no sign of the overhyped bayonetta 2.. suprise.. suprise... The lack of games for the wii-u means they have to overhype the ones that do release.

You seem to have 'over hyped' mixed up with 'critically acclaimed'.

strange that NSMBU is still in top 40 after being released two years ago! Must have sold 4 million copies now which is incredible out of only 7 million wii us out there. SMW was a much better game. Also glad Mario Kart 8 is holding steady. Bayonneta will not get the sales it deserves, looks and plays beautifully.

A few places have been selling NSMBU for around £10 in the past few weeks so it's not that strange. Nintendo games always have a long self life
