Capcom has revealed the release dates of all four episodes of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, while also confirming the return of Barry Burton.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2?s four episodes release as follows:

- Episode One arrives February 17
- Episode Two arrives February 24
- Episode Three arrives March 3
- Episode four arrives March 10.

Each episode will cost $5.99 (£4.99), or $24.99 (£19.99) for the season pass.

Barry Burton, Moira’s father, will be a playable character, teaming up with new character Natalia Korda in the search for his missing daughter. Natalia is a little girl with a power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items.

If you purchase the season pass then you'll receive two additional spin-off episodes that tell the side stories of Moira and Natalia, and a new Raid mode character: Hunk.

The game will also release at retail on March 13 and gives the following extra content:

- Additional RAID mode character: Albert Wesker
- Four alternative costumes (one for each of the main characters: Claire, Moira, Barry and Natalia)
- RAID mode Throwback Stage Pack featuring four stages from recent Resident Evil titles

Actually tempted to go digital on this now, you don't get a lot extra in the physical copy for an extra fiver.

thats not bad at all, under 20 quid for the whole game, definite digital for me on this, unless retail can match that, doubt it

Digital for me as well. It is nice to see an episodic game with an actual release timeline, it is the only thing disappointing with the telltales ones. I completed the Borderlands one the other day so now I just have to wait for the next episode.

Why does no one care about Billy? He is the only Resident Evil character I want to see again

I agree Nox though it should be Billy and Rebecca in the next one. They seem to be sticking with co-op now so it makes sense.

whats the reasoning behind episodes? Its great they are out a lot sooner than telltale games for example but is it purely to make the game last longer than a few days? I just don't see the point in releasing it like this - they will probably have the whole game finished before the 1st episode is out due to how soon each one is released

Does this mean... you buy the game @ £33.80. but have to pay an additional £19.99 for full game?
