PS4 release for Journey "not too far off"

Journey was a popular game on PS3 and soon it may be a popular game on Sony's next console too, as the PS4 version is "not too far off."

"Tricky Pixels is still working on the port, and [a release date] won't be announced until it's been completed, but it's not too far off," thatgamecompany tweeted earlier this week.

Sony already stated that the game would arrive on PS4 this year and will be presented in 1080p at 60FPS.

Are you looking forward to Journey on PS4?

Only if it's free for people who purchased it already on PS3.

Just because you bought a game on PS3 does not mean you should get it free on PS4, People these days they expect to get everything for free.

If people have bought games on other systems, then it is not entirely free on another system. I do not expect them to be free, but do expect a discount as it shows the developers respect us, and having to pay full price they are having a laugh! I bought Destiny on day one for the Xbox 360 and also immediately got it completely free for Xbox ONE - that was not necessary but awesome, as the game released for all platforms at the same time, and you have a choice, but when games release in the past on PS3 and Xbox 360 only with no sign of it being on the next gen consoles then there is no choice at the time. I bought The Last of Us on PS3 for £45 and not buying it again at full price on PS4, but if it was discounted for those that had the original PS3 version then I probably would have bought it. Minecraft was discounted on Xbox ONE, if you had the Xbox 360 version, and it worked for retail too, and that is the way it should be. There are exceptions if I really really like the game and it is reasonably priced, like Sleeping Dogs, but even that felt like I wasted my money. Saints Row IV Re-elected on Xbox ONE looks OK as it also has the expansion. I did not re-buy the Walking Dead on Xbox ONE until it was in a sale, and as I did not buy any Telltale games on Xbox ONE, the collection (5 games plus their season passes) at £35 was a bargain. Bring out Journey 2 on PS4 at full price and I will buy that. They have 2 choices - 1) Work on creating NEW games and charge full price or 2) Re-release old games but offer a discount to those who bought the game before.
