PlayStation original series, 'Powers', starts this March

PlayStation’s first original TV series, Powers, will hit PSN in March.

The first three episodes will be free to all PSN members, although you'll need to be a PlayStation Plus subscribers to watch the next seven, which will release at the rate of one per week every Tuesday.

Powers is based on an ongoing comic series of the same name and stars District 9's Shalto Copley and Eddie Izzard.

Are you excited to watch?

I'm not really excited for it but I will watch it as long as it has subtitles (need it for my deafness). Sony doesn't have subtitles on their movies so I don't see it happening on this. If that's the case then it will be very disappointing for me. It would be like watching it without sound for you.

I like subtitles too as some stuff that is said can not be made out, but most of the subtitling is done by people who do not even know what the show is about, when it should be done straight from the script. Highlander on Netflix was the worst, as people did not put anything, and even entered [inaudible] through it, which I could hear the words clearly myself. If the series is free to PS+ members I may watch it, but a lot of shows these days are not as fun as they used to be, and too dark and serious, plus a TV show is not complete without a decent title sequence of 1-2 mins, and they seem to be diminishing lately.
