Sony working hard to bring DriveClub: PlayStation Plus Edition as quickly as possible

You may have noticed yesterday that a whole load of websites jumped on a quote taken from Sony's Jim Ryan to tell us that Sony can't guarantee the release of DriveClub: PlayStation Plus Edition. Well wouldn't you know, it's not true.

Sony has responded to say that it's working on the servers in order to release the PlayStation Plus Edition as quickly as possible.

"Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch of the PS Plus Edition, we are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible."

We didn't post the story yesterday because we had a hunch it was a load of rubbish, but now that we have the facts we are happy to bring them to you.

You can order DriveClub below.

It's a shame because it my opinion it's a decent racer, I know from friends it's working a lot better now but so many people got fed up and moved on. Sony's reply though is ridiculous, after all this time they still can't sort the servers out? Mind you going from my own experience and Sony's track record with their "Online Service" it doesn't surprise me.

Its OK Sony Ive got the order 1886 to play through, you surely will redeem yourselves and not consecutively release another rushed out over hyped game for your even more overhyped oversold machine would you??? Sony I ask one thing ONE,release something that doesn't make me regret buying your console. I am utterly ashamed at buying Order 1886 luckily I didn't buy Drive Club and now the only thing I'm concerned about is Drive Club replacing another PSplus game nobody cares anymore about Drive Club
