The Elder Scrolls Online welcome back weekend kicks off today

The Elder Scrolls Online Welcome Back Weekend starts today.

The free weekend is an incentive to bring back beta players who tried out the game, but didn't purchase the title. You can play for free until Monday, although would have to purchase the main title if you want to continue.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is now subscription free and will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One in June.

Does this game interest you now that it has no subscription free?

Technically it started yesterday 16th :) it was a 40 gig download so grabbed yesterday morning. Went on for about an hour. Still same impressions as the beta - seemed jerky on my PC but might be my pc needing a restart. Will put in a few hours over weekend. We also got a pet for being in the beta and 500 crowns (no idea what the cash value of those were) so they have tempted me to try it. Doubt I'll buy though. The # menu looks so similar to guild wars 2. Are all mmos the same just with a different story haha! None stand out. I have secret world I've not even started as well

Until somehow they break that online game mould I'm steering clear of them, they just suck compared to how progressive and immersive offline games are... Give us ES6, I don't care for this online failure

GW2 is good (spent about 200 hours on it) but overall it is still just another mmo - nothing really stands out compared to other mmo's. they all have very similar quests and a story which is padded out to make it seem longer than it is. I got into FF 14 for a bit but i've not been on that for a while
