Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition detailed

Warner Bros today detailed the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition. The expanded version of the award-winning third-person open world action game, developed by Monolith Productions will launch 8th May for £49.99 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and £34.99 for Steam on Windows PC.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is obviously a fantastic game and the expanded version includes all currently available downloadable content, including:

-  Story Packs: The Lord of The Hunt and The Bright Lord
-  Skins: The Dark Ranger, Captain of the Watch, Lord of the Hunt, The Bright Lord, Power of Shadow and Lithariel Skins
-  Runes: Hidden Blade, Deadly Archer, Flame of Anor, Rising Storm, Orc Slayer, Defiant to the End, Elven Grace, Ascendant, One with Nature
-  Missions: Guardians of the Flaming Eye, The Berserks and The Skull Crushers Warband Missions
-  Challenge Modes: Test of Power, Test of Speed, Test of Wisdom, Endless Challenge, Test of the Wild, Test of the Ring, Test of Defiance Challenge Modes
-  Additional Features: Photo Mode

No, not buying this on console, as I already have it all, but may get it on Steam in the future when it is on sale for under a tenner.

hmmm, dunno why companies do this - surely they get more out of it by selling you the game and the season pass separate - seeing as season passes can't be re-sold, so having all content on the disk is unusual. Seeing as its only been 5 months though it would have been nice if this was the version that came out in November (the finished version)

plus, didn't GOTY edition used to mean it had won the GOTY award so they re-released with new extra content? now it just means the 'finished/complete' edition. They should just call it the complete edition or the gold edition (Like Ubisoft do)
