Splatoon Direct to air on May 7


Nintendo has today announced that a Nintendo Direct broadcast focusing solely on Splatoon will air on May 7.



To tune in, check out Twitch or the Nintendo Direct website at 15:00 BST on 7th May, where the broadcast will be streamed or you can also watch on ShopTo News.

It's going to be fantastic, sadly too many people are going to miss out because it won't allow them to abuse other players, but the people who do play it will see, you really don't need voice chat when you have a real time map of the playing area in your hands and a working brain.

Once you play enough of a game with someone you tend to know what they are thinking. People can still always use Skype, this just stops randoms talking (Which I still don't like)

Fair point Gloria but for a game of this nature to not support or at least have the option of voice chat is a daft move. Not everyone goes online to use voice chat to abuse others. It would of just been nice to have the option.

Doesn't bother me. I never use voice chat anyway. Online is generally full of people like my teenage son screaming and acting a little bit silly.

I find it funny how the first line on the game description says "Show your true colors" & yet Ninty disables voice chat to stop just that
