The Witcher 3 has sold 4 million copies to date

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now sold over 4 million copies worldwide.

In an open letter to fans, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwi?ski said that the team was "really humbled" not only by the scores the game has received all around the world, with an average of 90+ on every platform, but also with the four million sales worldwide since launch.

"Four million RPG fans spending their hard-earned money on our game is a sign that we did something right, and you can be sure that we’ll harness all that positive energy and make the upcoming expansions worthy of the grand adventure that you’re telling us Wild Hunt already is," he said.

"Until then, keep on enjoying Wild Hunt, do not forget to grab your weekly set of free DLCs, and stay tuned for constant updates and enhancement to the game we are continuously working on."

DLC came out today - the crossbow and armour. Just randomly selling my crap and wandered into a bookstore in the centre of town - after over 200 hours i've never seen this place, got a mission here and a few books i've not read before. I keep finding new stuff :) I may have a break from it though until NG+ is added as i'm too OP now

Well, don't sell too much, the money resets if you go over 65k, well it did for me, had to resort to exploits to gain back some of that loss...
