Nintendo opened its digital event with the new Star Fox game, which it says will release Holiday 2015. We can't wait to try it out because it's looking ace as you can see in the video below.
The gyro on the gamepad is used to look around and fly like you would a real airplane. It also uses both screens, with the pad used for action and shooting, while the game world is on the TV. You use the sticks to move around and one button to fire. The other buttons are used to flip and transform into various forms.
Reggie started things off after the look at Starfox, revealing that transformation is the theme of the Digital Event. We aren't hearing more about Nintendo NX, but rather the upcoming games and how they transform to bring you the best experiences.
Super Mario Maker was mentioned, as Reggie explained how players will become creators and share their levels with everyone. More amiibo are also on the way and we even learned how Activision and Nintendo figures will now show up in Skylanders, but if you twist the base they then become amiibo. How about that?
Next we got a look at Zelda Tri Force Heroes. A new 3DS title which allows you to change costumes to gain new abilities and then solve puzzles in this new top down action co-op RPG title.
Next we were told that Hyrule Warriors is coming to 3DS, along with content from the recent Zelda Crossover. The game is coming 2016.
The next game shown for a new Metroid Price for Nintendo 3DS, which also includes 4 vs 4 co-op and a sports style game which also incorporates co-op.
Fire Emblem Fate was next on show, giving us a look at the next game in the series which is due for 3DS in 2016.
A new Atlus title next which involved singing Japanese men and women and some shiny swords. It's all very upbeat, although all in Japanese, so we had no idea what anyone was saying. It seemed to be called FE and will release in 2016.
After this it was Xenoblade Chronicles X. Here's the trailer for the game which will release in December.
Animal Crossing was next up for 3DS, although it was showcasing the amiibo cards, which seem to allow you to add new furniture to your land. The game is called Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer.
There was also a Wii U Animal Crossing shown off called Animal Crossing amiibo festival where you touch amiibo onto the gamepad and play mini games, its coming 2015. You can get a better look below.
Next we got an explanation of how Yoshi's Wooly World came about and you can listen and watch in the video below.
Yo-kai Watch is coming to the west. We've never seen any gameplay before, but it looks a little like Pokemon, which is probably why it is so popular. Look out for this one later in 2015.
Mario Luigi Paper Jam, was next up for 3DS. It's basically Paper Mario style game, but it includes his brother too. More of the same really, but it still looks quite fun.
Mario Ultra Smash Tennis was also shown, it looks great, as it should on the Wii U. The game arrives 2015.
Mario Maker was next to be explained by the developers, telling us all about how you design levels. They call it game design training software and say you should try it if you are looking for a career in that area.
And that's it. So what did you think? If you missed it watch it again below.
