Capcom is working on a new engine for Project Morpheus

Capcom is developing a new engine for Project Morpheus games and have already shown off a demo of the tech in action.

Currently the engine has no name, however we do know that it supports Project Morpheus’ 120 FPS, and renders at 1080p HD and 60 FPS.

It is also reported by Siliconera that a PS4 demo called 'Kitchen,' is being shown off to selected press. The game apparently “provides the unsettling backdrop of a kitchen for a tense scenario that draws players into a hyper-realistic virtual world.”

Capcom's engine will also use “advanced photo scan and visual effects tools to bring highly realistic characters and environments to life, delivering exciting new gameplay experiences for fans.”

Do you think other publishers are also working on tech for Project Morpheus?
