Pete Hines has said that Bethesda are not interested in a 'Skyrim 2,' telling The Telegraph Hines in a new interview that the publisher its not looking to offer countless sequels for the franchise.
Referencing other publishers, Hines said, “They’d be spitting out a Skyrim 2 the year after or two years later. That’s just not how we view it. We’re not the sort of publisher that focusses on ‘what’s our 25 titles for 2015'."
Hines went to to say that he believes Bethesda are more about quality not quantity and therefore it'll announce a new game in the Elder Scrolls series when it is ready, and it won't necessarily be Skyrim 2.
We'd love to hear more on Bethedsa's plans for Elder Scrolls 6, but with Elder Scrolls Online only just hitting console and Fallout 4 now on the horizon, we imagine it'll be some time before we hear anything.
