PlayStation Plus games will now go live on first Tuesday of every month

PlayStation Plus games will now go live on the first Tuesday of every month, as opposed to the Wednesday.

"Hey folks. As of this month, Plus games go live in both EU and US on the first Tuesday of the month (no longer Wednesday in EU)," SCEE blog manager Fred Dutton confirmed on PlayStation Blog. "The first Tuesday in July is 7th July, hence why the games aren’t launching this week."

We don't know what this month's games are yet, however Japanese PS Plus subscribers are will get hold of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for PS Vita and PS4's Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN (PS4) for free.

We'll let you know once we find out what next month's PS Plus games are going to be.

Awesome but it wasn't really enforced for EU before anyway. When we had the first Wednesday of the month with the US having the day before for the previous month, we never got the PS+ games anyway. Only cool thing will be on the times US and EU both have the first tuesday/Wednesday of the month in the same week, EU wony have to wait the extra day. Now if only store updates are more universal...
