Microsoft details its plans for gamescom


Microsoft has detailed its plans for gamescom 2015, revealing the time of its Xbox media press conference and further details of its Xbox FanFest.

The gamescom 2015 press conference will take place on Tuesday, August 4 at 4pm CEST and will show titles such as Scalebound, Quantum Break and Crackdown. There will also be news on Xbox 360 and Windows Phone.

The evening before gamescom officially kicks off, the Xbox briefing will show off many of the games coming to Xbox One, including titles like Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown. Tune in to the gamescom 2015 Xbox Briefing on Xbox One, Xbox.com, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone to get the latest news and watch game trailers and demos. Be sure to download the free Xbox Live Event interactive app (XLEi app) on your Xbox One or XLE on your Xbox 360 before the show so you’re ready!

In addition to the above, Microsoft will also have a Fanfest, allowing fans to get exclusive access to games, as well as other surprises.

Xbox FanFest: gamescom 2015

After Xbox FanFest: E3 2015, we’ve decided to bring the same up-close-and-personal fan experience to gamescom this year. Running from Tuesday, August 4th through Wednesday, August 5th, a group of fans will get exclusive access to the greatest games lineup in Xbox history, as well as a host of other surprises. Details coming soon.

"We’ve got an amazing lineup planned for gamescom 2015 and can’t wait to share it with you," Microsoft says regarding the upcoming event.
