First footage shown from The Nathan Drake Collection for PS4; Demo incoming.

The Nathan Drake Collection is coming to PS4 later this summer, bringing with it all three games in the trilogy so far in 1080p at 60FPS.

Today we get to see some gameplay footage from Uncharted 2 for PS4 although according to Sony, not all of the improvements have yet been implemented.

"I played unfinished code that was missing a few minor visual effects, but Bluepoint's loving influence was readily apparent," SCEA social media manager Sid Shuman wrote on PlayStation Blog. "The studio is upgrading character models, environment textures, lighting, and special effects across the board, bringing all three games as close to visual modernity as possible while ensuring they remain true to their original creative direction.

"As the studio finalizes work on the collection, it will also roll in the assorted control scheme tweaks, gameplay refinements, and subtle mechanical upgrades that evolved through the series across all three games, bringing them into closer gameplay parity."

If you pre-order The Nathan Drake Collection then you'll gain access to the Uncharted 4 beta. The game arrives on PS4 on October 9, with Uncharted 4 due to follow in 2016.

Sony has also revealed that a demo is due out in the summer, but did not say if it will include levels from all three games.

if these can be 60fps for single player, surely they could spend a bit longer on 4 and make that 60 too? its silly how only re-masters are actually coming out optimised well - maybe they should develop a ps3 game and re-master to ps4, seems to give you better performance

They can't. Don't you know that it's all about graphics rather than performance?

I liked the look of the ND collection above (before removal) so I would have been happier with a game in those graphics running smooth than fancier graphics with an fps hit.ah well - still undecided on wether i'm going to get the ND collection on the PS4 or not - if I do it probably wont be on release

I truly enjoyed the Uncharted games and having them bundled for the ps4 is a good concept whilst waiting for the final installment, but unfortunately Disgaea 5 comes out on the same day as Uncharted and i just cant afford £100 for 2 games, and as ive learned that this collection does not include online multiplayer, it strays me further of interest seeing as getting all 3 for playstation 3 is far cheaper and able to play against other online players

I read an article a while back mentioning that it is possible that they could make 4 60fps but they are wasting, sorry, 'spending' their time on multiplayer and possibly making that 60fps instead...
