Mighty No.9 pushed to 2016, according to retailers

Mighty No.9, the spiritual successor to Mega Man, has been pushed back to 2016 by various retailers, casting doubt on the game's current progress.

Keiji Inafune's latest successfully raised $4m back in October 2013 and was due to release on Xbox One, PS4, Wii U and PC this September, however the latest rumours of delay began when it was pushed back from this date by the likes of Amazon and Wallmart.

So far publisher Deep Silver has declined to comment, but we wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be true.

I don't think many people are surprised these days with games being delayed. It's a real shame, but it's a common/annoying theme.
