Pokemon Tournament is coming to Wii U in 2016

The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo today announced the upcoming release of Pokémon Tournament for Nintendo’s Wii U. Currently an arcade game available only in Japan, Pokkén Tournament for Wii U will be released worldwide in spring 2016.

Developed in collaboration with Bandai Namco, Pokemon Tournament brings Pokémon to life in a way never before seen, where Pokémon in battle move in direct response to the player’s actions.

“Pokémon Tournament combines the best elements of a traditional fighting game with an authentic Pokémon experience,” said J.C. Smith, director of Consumer Marketing at The Pokémon Company International. “Fans will be thrilled to see their favourite Pokémon battle in a whole new way.”

OMG, YESSSSSSSSSS! ORGASMIC ^0^ ^0^! As long as ShopTo gets a limited edition with, hopefully, THREE Pokémon Amiiboes and a dog tag, you'll have yourself a pre-order ^0^!! Best news for the Wii U yet; just hope this will make Bandai Namco bring JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to the Wii U too ^0^ ^0^!!

Been waiting for them to announce this for the Wii U - will be getting this - and hopefully the Pokemon Amiibos will work with it - even if the Pokemon NFCs from Pokemon Rumble work as well I'll be happy (got all of them including a few shinys). I really want them to do a full 3d Pokemon game, so the lenght of a normal game but all in full 3d - been wanting this since N64 days - The 2 on the GC don't count...
