Former Darksiders developers begin Kickstarter for Battlechasers: Nightwar *update*

Update: Airship Syndicate has today announced that a PS4 and Xbox One version of Battlechasers will now be released as part of the original Kickstarter and not via stretch goals.

"By incredibly popular demand, we are taking Xbox One and PS4 out of stretch goals and making them a core part of the campaign," says the developer.

"Anyone who has pledged will be given a choice of available platforms via a survey as we get closer to launch, so if you've already supported us, you're all set!"

Good news. Have you backed this project?

Original: The former Darksiders developers from Vigil Games have began their own Kickstarter for Battlechasers: Nightwar.

Joe Madureira, the founder of Airship Syndicate and creator of Darksiders I & II, is looking for $500,000 to bring Nightwar, which is based on Madureira's fantasy comic book series, Battle Chasers, to life.

The game is planned for PC with an estimated delivery date of December 2016, although PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are stretch goals.

Check out the Kickstarter and back it here.
