Activision has announced their new worldwide eSports league, known simply as The Call of Duty World League.
The company will hold regional competitions and live-streamed events throughout the year with a $3M prize pool up for grabs, which sounds nice if you can win some of it.
The league will be divided into Pro and Challenge divisions, the latter meaning that amateur teams also get the chance to compete.
The first season of the Pro Division will start on January 2016, with teams competing for a spot in the Call of Duty Championship later in the year. The winners from the Challenge Division will also get the chance to appear at the Championships.
