Black Ops III entire campaign is unlocked from the start

Treyarch has unlocked every single-player campaign level from the start, meaning that, if you want to start the game and play the last level first you can.

It's a bit weird, but as Jason Blundell, director of campaign and Zombies mode for Black Ops 3, says, "It gives players the flexibility to consume the content how they want.

"The unlocking level system is an archaic mentality we've had since we did bedroom development back in the day - you do this, then go on to the next one.

"Consumers and game players in general are far more mature these days. There are so many things vying for our interests today. It's about, how do they want to consume it? Maybe they put it down on level two, and then they're in work the next day, and some guy says, 'dude, you've got to check out level four!' And he's like, 'okay, I'll have a quick look.' That's totally fine. I think it's their choice."

Apparently the open-ended campaign is also including abilities and perks to use during the single-player, allowing you to approach the load-outs, weapons and guns how you want.

Zombies Fans also get a bigger and better mode this year. Featuring Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, Heather Graham and Neal McDonough, Zombie Mode takes place on a map known as ‘Shadows Of Evil' and the noir-inspired setting of Morg City.

It features a full progression system, upgrades and unlocks and is a full gameplay mode, not just an added on after thought.

So are you excited for Black Ops III?
