PES 2016 gets first major update this week

Konami has revealed the first major update for PES 2016, which will launch this Thursday.

The new update will be automatically downloaded and added to the main game, adding in updated team rosters, including all new signings plus the addition of any youth players that have been allocated shirt numbers.

Player form will also be updated and refreshed each week, while new French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 kits and kits for the two Spanish leagues and new Serie A Italian kits will also be added.

FC Groningen, FC Utrecht, Galatasaray, Panathinaikos, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Independiente, Newell's Old Boys and Vélez Sarsfield will also gain new kits, as will UEFA Champions League and Asian Champions League teams.

More than 70 players have also been updated using the PES ID system, while there are also updated player likenesses for Luuk de Jong, Yevhen Konopolyanka, Jordon Ibe, Danny Ings, Joshua Kimmich, and Burak Yilmaz.
