MCV has revealed that FIFA 16 was the top selling digital game in September, generating over £4.5 million for EA.
Destiny was next on the list, generating 2.2 million, while Advanced Warfare also sold well, generating £1.7 million in revenue. Elsewhere in the chart, Metal Gear Solid took fourth place (£1.5 million) and GTA V was fifth (£1.16 million)
The console versions of FIFA 16 were downloaded almost 85,000 times by the end of September, according to the latest issue of MCV, and while Destiny was second place in terms of revenue, it was actually Minecraft (No.6 with £568,629 generated) that was the second most downloaded title of the month, with over 40,000 downloads.
This chart comes via US Firm Superdata as there is currently no official way of knowing digital sales via UKIE and Charttrack.
