Fallout 4 Pip-Boy app is out now on Android and iOS

Bethesda has released its Fallout Pip-Boy app to the App Store and Google Play.

The free download replicates the Pip-Boy on iOS and Android devices and allows you to interact with your PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One if you've got Fallout 4.

Currently the app has a "demo" mode in which you can scroll around the map, however, other than that is doesn't do too much at this time, since the game is yet to be released.

When the app links up to Fallout 4, it'll remember your status and let you access your data on the go, which saves you accessing the menu hopefully.

Fallout 4 is out next week. You can order below.

Gonna get this - hope it works on the ipad - much easier to see and user while in-game as I have my iPad stood next to me as I game to watch vids on it anyway. I just wish it was part of the second screen functions - companies seem to have forgot that existed after the launch titles
