A sequel isn't planned for Beyond: Two Souls

David Cage has said that his studio has no plans to develop a sequel for Beyond: Two Souls, following the original's release on PS4.

"No, there is no plan at the moment for a sequel to Beyond: Two Souls," Cage told fans on playstation.com. "We love starting new ideas and exploring different directions game after game.

"I know this is quite unusual in the industry, but we don't want to make the same game ten times, or feel too comfortable only doing things we know.

"We love the excitement of new risks to take, new things to try, new crazy ideas to explore; and see how our fans and the community will react."

It makes sense that Cage wouldn't be thinking about a sequel at this time, especially when his team recently announce "Detroit," a new title which they currently have in development for Sony's latest system.

How do you feel about Beyond: Two Souls? Have you tried the remastered version for PS4? If so what did you think? We'll be bringing you our very own impressions soon.

bought this the other day - played through it for the first time - loved it, so much better than the Telltale story books. However - people have been asking for a sequel of this game because there was so much left open at the end and the 'visions' of the future - if no sequel or DLC was planned to wrap it up, why bother with the visions - that's stupid. Should have left it as the choiced ending and no vision.
