The PlayStation Experience kicked off the only way it could, with a new video for Uncharted 4. In the video we met Drake's brother Sam and were of course greeted the fantastic visuals that will come along with the game when it's released next year.
Interestingly we found out that the game also has dialogue choices, which could be fun.
When the trailer was over, Shaun Layden came out, wearing a Crash Bandicoot trailer, before going on to thanks the fans, telling them that there will be lots and lots of game announcements and plenty of VR to play.
So on to the first trailer then and it was of course for Final Fantasy VII, the remake of which was announced back at E3. By the looks of the new trailer shown it is coming along quite nicely, with polish graphics, fast paced action and all the excitement you'd expect from a remake of this Square Enix classic title.
The team say they are working hard on the title and are finding new and exciting ways to develop it each day. And if you can't wait? Well the PC rerelease of Final Fantasy VII is available now on the PS store.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III was next up, with the first DLC being available 30 days first on PlayStation early next year. The first DLC is known as 'Awakening,' so look out for it next year. Other Call of Duty next surrounded E-Sports, with PlayStation becoming the official partner and console for the Call of Duty World League.
Star Wars was mentioned next, with fans being told that they can play Battle of Jakku on the show floor and then went on to show off some of the gameplay captured from fans around the world.
Battleborn was the next game to get a mention, with Randy Pitchford from Gearbox coming on stage to talk about his studios game. It has is apparently a solo and co-op game, as well as being packed with multiplayer action. It'll also come with the over the top humour that you've come to expect from the Borderlands series too. The open beta will be first to PlayStation and if you play then you'll get a free character.
Pitchford also showed off a new character known as Toby. He's a penguin in a mechsuit, You'll get to try him out on the open beta, exclusively on PlayStation. We also got some in-game action of him in action.
Street Fighter V was next to be shown, which of course is a game that is exclusive to the PlayStation 4. The final launch character F.a.n.g was revealed for when the game releases on February 16 next year.
Yoshinoro Ono came on to the stay to talk about the game in his own unique and friendly style. He said he was happy that Capcom managed to reveal the character without it being leaked first, which got a laugh from the audience.
We has confirmation that the six new characters to be released in 2016 are Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri and Urien. More unleaked information was also revealed, with news that the season pass for Street Fighter V goes on sale from today. One last piece of news was that the Capcom Cup is taking place at The PlayStation Experience tomorrow, although he had to be practically thrown off the stage so he would stop talking.
Gio Corsi was next on the stage to talk. First he showed of a new Dead Star trailer, which showcased the Escape Run mode, where massive Capital Ships join the fray. This title is exclusive to PS4 and PC.
Adult Swim Games was next up to show off some of its titles in a montage, many of which are coming first to PS4. Titles include 'Death's Gambit', 'Ray's The Dead', 'Duck Game', 'Rain World', 'Small Radios, Big Televisions' and from Double Fine, 'Head Lander'.
Tim Schafer game on the stage after the trailer to talk about Dead of the Tentacle remastered, which was announced at PlayStation Experience last year and to show us a new video for the game. It's looking good and will release on PS4 and PS Vita on March 2016.
Another announcement from Schafer was that Full Throttle is being remastered and we also found out that Psychonauts: Rumbus of Ruin is being made for PlayStation VR.
The next game shown off was Invisible Inc. An action title with a unique art style and Don't Starve is also getting a sequel. Don't Starve: Together is making its console debut on PS4.
Another game making its debut on PS4 and PS Vita is Zodiac: Orcanon Oddessey, which comes from some of the team behind Final Fantasy Tactics. It looks quite similar to this title too, which is great.
Hitman Go is also coming to PS4 and PS Vita and there's more too. Yakuza 5 is coming to PS3 in the west on Tuesday. Yakuza Zero is also coming to the West on PS4, which is fantastic news.
The Last Blade 2 is coming to PS4 and PS Vita. While King of Fighters XIV is coming exclusively to PS4 with 50 fighters and all the action you would expect from the popular Fighting series.
Nioh was the last title talked about by Gio Corsi, which comes from a new studio but is exclusive to PS4. It looks like an interesting mix of Dark Souls and God of Wars, with a very dark, mystic feel to it.
Bastion is out today and offers cross-buy with PS4. It's only $2.99 which is great news. BitTrip Four is also available for PS Vita and PS4 for $9.99. Nuclear Throne is also out today on PS4 and PS Vita - those attending will get two of the games free, which excited the crowd.
Finally, Brutal was shown off, a new game coming to PS4 from Stormcloud games.
A popular title in the US, MLB The Show, was the next game to be shown and as always it is looking absolutely fantastic. It could out March 16.
Scott Rohde was next on the stage to talk about more games. Guns Up, it's a free-to-play title that comes out today. It's all about strategy and building to defend against the enemy. It looks like it could be well worth checking out. PS Plus members gets a free DLC bundle.
Fat Princess Adventures was next to be talked about. Four player online and local couch co-op and it's out today, which is great news as you know, well if you've played the last game you'll know for sure. If you purchase before December 15 you'll get some DLC for free.
Ted Price was next on the stage to talk about Ratchet & Clank and show us a new video. The new Ratchet & Clank is based on the first game, although has been remade from the ground up with new weapons, dialogue, amazing graphics and more. The game arrives April 4 and the movie arrives in late April in the U.S.
It was PlayStation VR's turn next. Sony managed to set up two networked PlayStation VR units and show the experience of the users on the screen for the audience. It looks pretty interesting, although we imagine it would be a lot more fun if playing on your own.
Rez Infinite was shown for VR next, with someone playing in a flashing suit, while the action was shown on screen. It looked a bit trippy to be honest.
More VR games were announced on stage which are playable at the show, such as Battlezone, Harmonix Music VR and a lot more too. A new game was also shown from Ubisoft, which is known as Eagle Flight. It looks like this one got its inspiration from Assassin's Creed to us.
Modern Zombie Taxi Co. was announced for PlayStation VR. Although it's not a horror title, as you actually are in a family of zombies, taking the kids to parties, racing and doing all other sorts of odd fun stuff. It's coming in 2016.
Job Simulator is also coming to PlayStation VR and it looks like it could be fun. As does, Golem, which looks like a really interesting title made from the ground up for PlayStation VR.
100ft Robot Golf was next shown, which as you might have guess does what it says on the tin. Reck buildings, run through mountains. It's coming to PS4, but also has a PlayStation VR mode too.
Finally for PlayStation VR we got new Ace Combat game, in Ace Combat 7, which is quite exciting.
Time for more video games on console. A new event for Destiny: The Taken King was announced. Starting December 8 you can race on Mars and Venus and earn new awards and gear. Sparrow Racing League is exclusive to The Taken King and is free if you own the game. More content was announced for the next Iron Banner events too, including exclusive quests and gear.
Hob was the next game shown and it looks great, with its cell-shaded art style and platforming style action. The console debut will be on PS4.
Level 5 games was the next developer talked about. Bringing an exclusive title to the PS4. Level 5 are pretty famous for JRPG's so it's no surprise to see a fantastic looking title from the studio. So what was it? Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, of course and it looks amazing really.
Epic was next on stage, showing off its new title Paragon. It's fair to say that from the trailer it looks epic, although we never really saw any gameplay as such, so we expect there is more to come from that one when we get the early access in Spring 2016 on PS4.
