CD Projekt says The Witcher series isn't finished, as it switches its focus to Cyberpunk 2077

Developer CD Projekt has said that there will be a fourth game in The Witcher series, which makes sense considering the amount of cash the series brings in.

"It's too early to talk about it, but it's not like we're forgetting about this brand," the studio’s CEO Adam Kicinski said on Polish TV station TVN24 BiS, via GamePressure. "It wouldn't be fair towards the fans. We work within this universe for over a dozen years now and I don't think it's going to be the end of it.”

Of course before that the team is working on a completely new title known as Cyberpunk 2077. It'll apparently be “far, far bigger” than the Witcher 3, which in itself is a massive game.

"The project is even more ambitious than we first planned (...) we need to create a game that will be even more successful.

"Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before... far, far bigger."

Cyberpunk is expected to release in late 2016.
