Tuesday Chat: January 5

It's Tuesday and if you are a PlayStation 4 fan then you'll be happy to know that you can now connect to the PlayStation Network again.

Yesterday evening the network went down and remained that way until early this morning. Did the outage affect you? How do you feel about network outages in general? Be it PSN, Xbox LIVE, Steam or even other publishers clients, these things happen. Does it frustrate you or is it just one of those things that you learn to put up with?

Let's Chat!

I don't mind cos it isn't usually very long - apart from the odd occurence when morons try to hack the service. But I don't play a lot of Multiplayer heavy games - I'm happy in single player. Steam did a bad thing this christmas didn't it, when it was showing other peoples address details to random people until they turned Steam off to stop it doing it! that was fun

I did not buy a single game in the Steam winter sale. First time in years. The refund policy seems to have made the sales not so good, and there were no flash/daily sales, and to get winter trading cards you have to browse through a bunch of games. I bought a few games in the PSN and Xbox stores. I bought Need for Speed for £40 on PS4 in the deals leading up to Christmas, and then was gutted when it was on sale for £30 in the January sales after Christmas. I have been playing it an hour or so each day to complete daily challenges. The PSN outage last night bothered me for the first time as could not do the daily challenges last night. Hopefully it does not happen too much this month, as will be annoying if I do not reach Rank 50 by the end of January.

@superniceguy I noticed complete Star wars dropped from £105 to £75 as well. I would of been pissed off if I bought it at full price.
