Farming Simulator 2017 will release later this year

If you like to plant crops and drive around in tractors, then you will be happy to know that Focus Home Interactive has announced Farming Simulator 17 for release at "the end of 2016".

The game is once again be developed by Giants Software, the same studio behind last year's game.

"It's been a pleasure working with Focus throughout all these years," said Thomas Frey, VP of Giants Software. "This partnership is the water on the seed that made Farming Simulator grow into the global phenomenon it is today. Each time we release a new version together we reach more people, and we look forward to expanding this reach even further in the coming years."

"Farming Simulator is a one of a kind story in the video game industry," added Focus Home Interactive president Cedric Lagarrigue. "Years ago, we imagined a unique destiny for this game and Giants Software, their creators. It is with great satisfaction that we succeed in reaching all of our objectives. There are still a lot of beautiful pages to write for Farming Simulator, and it starts right now with the simultaneous release of the game on PC and consoles at the end of the year."

Are you excited to find out more?

This is one of the 'Simulator' games that actually do the job well. Train Simulator is another which is really good - however with Train Sim I love the fact they don't release a game each year - they just update the engine and features and make it a free update year after year (something Farming Simulator technically could do). The crappy ones like Airport sim, Logistics, Woodcutter etc all give the decent ones a bad name.

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
